We started the community because we got tired of not having people to play our nerdy card game (Magic: the Gathering) with. After starting a group on facebook the group has continued to grow and has gotten great feedback. It has always been a small dream to have card gaming or game shop throughout the years. Never thought it would ever get this far but now we are here.
We plan on doing giveaways, tournaments, and more events. We support local game stores and continue to help grow the Trading Card Game community in Eastern Kentucky.
The overall goal of AppalachiaTCG is to meet new friends, teach new people about collecting, and playing all of these card games we grew up with and love.
The community has grown so much Smango/AppalachiaTCG and the Farmhousediner are now selling cards at the diner which you can go purchase during business hours while grabbing you a delicious cheeseburger.

Separate from the business side of AppalachiaTCG is the community that started all of this which is ran by everyone people who love trading card games and wanted to help build interest in Magoffin County Kentucky.
